CRPF jawan shot dead in Bokaro: Officer killed

A CRPF jawan was shot dead by his assistant commander in Bokaro city in Jharkhand after being hit by a headwind on an issue with his superiors. An Assistant Police Inspector was also killed.

One jawan was injured in the incident. This was the third such incident in a week in Jharkhand. An Indo-Tibetan force jawan who had earlier served in the elections committed suicide after killing five of his colleagues.

Even in Monday's incident, a provocative jawan named Dipendra Yadav was on election duty. In another incident on Monday, a Chhattisgarh Armed Force jawan, who was serving in Chhattisgarh, shot dead his superiors and then committed suicide.

According to another report, a group of two CRPFs and one in a secondary school were evacuated at Kurknallo Higher Secondary School in Bokaro. There was a clash between the two teams on Monday night at around 8:30 pm. One of the agitated jawans started firing indiscriminately as a result of which both teams started firing face-to-face and the talk became volatile.

In addition to two CRPF officers, two constables were also killed. The shooter also committed suicide after the incident.
