Congress Satyagraha on Rajghat in opposition to CAA, NRC

CAA, NRC not to be implemented in states Announcement of Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states

The dharna was held at Rajghat where the tomb of Gandhiji is located. Gandhiji was known for Satyagraha, so the Congress also named this dam Satyagraha. Congress leaders have said that Congress has full support for the youth, students, the poor, women, the elderly, etc. who are protesting against the atrocities committed against the youths in the country and against the unconstitutional law that has been brought.

Other leaders who joined the exhibition included Ahmed Patel, Ashok Gehlot, Kamal Nath, AK. Antony, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mallikarjun Khadge, Anand Sharma, Shakti Singh Gohil, in-charge of Bihar and most leaders of the Congress Working Committee, party workers were sitting on the platform called Satyagran.

The Congress leaders said, "Our workers have come here to stand with those who are opposing the NRC, CAA in this country." Speaking at the Satyagraha dam, Priyanka Gandhi said that a 22-year-old kid from Bijnor who runs his own house on a coffee machine and was married a few days ago has been killed in the exhibition. When the mother of a 21-year-old youth who was preparing for the UPSC exam told me that my son was a martyr for this country. We are sitting here today for each of these children who have been martyred in this agitation. Ahmed Patel said that today there are people who are sitting in power, not a single person was involved in the war of independence of this country. Today, democracy, nation are in danger.

Boxer and Congress leader Jitendra Singh also read the constitution proposal. When the Congress leader Mira Kumar said that the poor, Dalits, the deprived people of every category fought in this country to give freedom.

Although no one asked them their citizenship at that time, today those who are asking citizenship of the citizens of this country were nowhere when they were being sacrificed for the freedom of this country. The chief ministers of Congress who joined the dam announced that NRC, CAA should not be implemented in their states.

People have boasted of Modi-Shah: opposition
