Cold frost is spreading throughout North India. Today was the coldest day of the season for Rajasthan Delhi. The mercury in Delhi's Lodhi Road area today reached 1.7 degrees Celsius.
While Safdarganj area recorded a low of 2.4 degrees, Palam was recorded at 3.1 degrees. Sunday also predicted a cold wave across north, east and central India. The weather forecast is also expected to be the coldest month.
Meanwhile, 28 people have died due to cold in UP, while 8 people have died due to cold in Jharkhand and 11 in Bihar. Temperatures have dropped drastically due to snowfall in the mountainous states.
