Citizenship Bill: Mamata Banerjee molested by prominent historian Ramchandra Guha

New Delhi, December 19, 2019, Thursday

Ram Chandra Guhan, a prominent historian who was protesting in Bangalore against the Citizenship Investigation Bill, has been detained by police. Police have arrested 30 other protesters along with them.

Guha was demonstrating with posters in his hand and he was detained by police at that time. After that, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has come out of a rage. I condemn Ram Chandra Guha's detention for talking to the media and grabbing the poster in Gandhiji's hands.

When the police detained Guha for violating Article 144, Guha said that the police hijacking is against democracy. The police do not allow peaceful demonstrations. This is the right of the citizens.
