As of October, 21,400 Indian websites were hacked

At least 21, 400 Indian websites were hacked by October this year, Minister of State for Electronics Sanjay Dhotre said in Parliament.

In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Dhotre gave this information, citing the report of the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team.

Dhotre said that 33,147 Indian websites were hacked in 2016, 30,067 in 2017 and 17,560 in 2018. According to him, the Chinese and Pakistani hackers were mostly involved in the crime.

He added that more than once these failed attempts to cyber-attack the country. He said this was not new. This is done with computer services around the world.

Hackers make such a noise by using a secret server or undetectable technology. Each country has its own squadron ready to fight such crime. The team hires experts from day-to-day exploration and implementation technology that can also prevent cyber-attacks.
