Questioning Army Chief Rawat on a violent demonstration, a program in Delhi said, "People are trying to escape from the cold in Delhi while minus temperatures of 45 degrees in Siachen are protecting my border."

On the demonstrations at the university, Rawat said that leadership is not one that gets people in the wrong direction. This cannot be said of leadership ability.
Speaking on the leadership, he said, it is not an easy task to take the lead. Because the more you move, the more people follow you. This may seem like a simple thing but it is a task to guide people. Because a large number of people are standing behind you waiting for your guidance.
