Amitabh Bachchan is rumored to be working in the 'Shantaram' series

Amitabh Bachchan's name is being called for a series based on the English novel. However, in this series he is likely to be seen as not the main but the main character. Hollywood celebrity Charlie Hunam will be seen in the character of Santaram.

Two years ago, Mira Nair was offered to make a Future film. The producer of this film was Deep Deep then. Mira wanted to shoot the film in a Mumbai slum, according to the story against which the producer objected. Hollywood hit viewers would not be interested in seeing Mumbai slums, so Mira Nair was removed from the film. The film was later offered to another director, but for some reason, he too left. But Amitabh Bachchan is still involved with the project.
