Hyderabad Ta. December 10, 2019, Tuesday

The news went viral on social media that a ration card containing a photograph of Lord Isa was distributed in Andhra Pradesh.

Usually, photographs of deities cannot be displayed on ration cards of any state or country. But rumors of a photograph of Jesus Christ on the ration card in Andhra Pradesh were flowing.

Jagan Reddy's state government had termed this as a conspiracy of the Telugu Desam Party of Chandrababu Naidu. The state government also alleged that the ration card dealer was a member of Telugu Desam. He may have executed this plot.

The state government also claimed that the ration card dealer was a huge fan of the Telugu Desam Party and could have done so. The rest of the ration card has nothing to do with Christianity or the Messiah.

The state government also disclosed that the dealer had earlier disclosed the photo of Shirdi Saibaba and then Tirupati Balaji on the ration card.

Officials of the state civil supply department said, "We will take action against this dealer in the near future for the sake of spreading misunderstandings about the religion of the government."

Social media users say the news and photographs went viral from somewhere in Andhra Pradesh.
