11 killed in violent protests in UP, police case against 10,000 people

Eleven people have been killed in violent protests in UP against the Citizenship Investigation Act so far.

Internet services have been resumed in Lucknow. Police arrested 3000 people yesterday.

UP government has begun sending notices to recover against public property damage by storm. Property of those who do not pay the penalty amount will be confiscated. 218 people have been arrested in Lucknow.

In Ghaziabad alone, police have registered a case against 3600 people for the riots. It is noteworthy that after Friday prayers, thunderstorms broke out in UP.
