Two ASI suspended, DCP-Commissioner transferred in Delhi court

After the police firing on a lawyer in Delhi's Tis Hazari court, both the lawyers and the police came to the front and the lawyers set the police vehicles on fire.

After the incident, the entire matter has now reached the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court has given notice to the police and bar associations on the whole matter. Along with which the police officers are responsible, their transfer was ordered.

29 people including police lawyers were injured in the incident, while one policeman was undergoing serious treatment in the police shootings. After hearing the arguments of lawyers, associations, police officers in the Delhi High Court in this regard, the court said that no action would be taken against any lawyer. At present a judicial inquiry has been ordered in this regard.

Chief Judge D.N. The bench of Patel, Judge C Hari Shankar, said that retired judge S.P. Investigation will be conducted on this matter under the leadership of Garg. They will be assisted by CBI directors, intelligence agencies. In the next six weeks the entire matter has to be completed.

At the same time, the Bench directed the Delhi Police Commissioner to transfer the Special Commissioner, Lanjay Singh, who ordered a lathi charge on the lawyers. Besides, there have been allegations that DCP Harinder Singh had ordered the shootings on the lawyers, who also ordered them to be transferred.

ASI Karta Prasad, who was taken into custody by a lawyer in a lockup, has been suspended. At the same time, ASI Pawan, who fired bullets at the lawyers, has been suspended and the police department has been ordered to take further action against him.

The order was issued after hearing the arguments of the Delhi Bar Association, the Supreme Court Bar Association and the lawyers and police officers. The police had also directed the police to take the statements of the injured lawyers.
