The Supreme Court reverses the High Court verdict

As the wedding season has started to flood, there is good news for the people of Uttar Pradesh. The Supreme Court rejected the Allahabad High Court's ruling banning DJ's music in Varagoda.

The Allahabad High Court had banned DJ music across the state on October 14. The Djwala people, in the Supreme Court, asserted that the basic right to livelihood was to be assisted. The Supreme Court accepted his application and rejected the Allahabad High Court verdict.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that those who are seeking a license as a rule should be given a license to give music to DJs. The apex court had scheduled a final hearing on December 16 on the issue.

Accepting the petition filed by Prayagraj resident Sushilchandra Srivastava and others, the Allahabad High Court had banned DJ's music in the state of Uttar Pradesh on October 14 on the issue of sound pollution.
