Approximately 56 years ago, on November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in the US 35. The incident caused worldwide shock. Kennedy was shot dead by former Marine Lee Harvey Oswald as he walked through the Deeley Plaza in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he died. Oswald was captured by Dylas police and killed two days later.

President Kennedy decided to go to Texas to relieve tensions between the Liberal Ralph Yarborough and Don Yarborough and Texas Governor Conservative John Conley within the Democratic Party. Arriving in Texas, his fleet was arranged to depart from the general public.

It is believed that an estimated 1.5 to 2 lakh people gathered at that time to see the President. When his convoy arrived at Dilly Plaza at 12.30 hours, Conley's wife, Nellie Conley, told Kennedy that, in response to the fact that President Dilus did not love you, Kennedy said, "Of course not." These were his final words.

He was shot dead when his convoy arrived at the Texas School Book Depository. Here in the crowd people heard the sound of three bullets. Kennedy and John Conley were shot. Kennedy lost his life in the car while Conley was rescued.

Shortly after the eyewitnesses' statement, Dylas police released pictures of the suspect. The accused fled to hide in a Texas theater, but a ticket clerk called the police. Oswald was arrested by police. He was charged with the murder of Kennedy and Officer Tippit.

The assassination of Oswald
Oswald denied the allegations but did not prove his guilt or innocence. Two days after the incident, Dallas police were taking him from the city jail to the county jail when he was shot by Dylas nightclub Honor Jack Ruby. Ruby said Oswald was killed because he was aware of the Kennedy assassination.
