Sonia Gandhi-Pawar meeting today decided on the government in Maharashtra

Mumbai, November 17, 2019, Sunday

The result of the Maharashtra Assembly elections is yet to be realized even on the 25th day of the Shiv Sena's formation in the midst of the political heat in Maharashtra. The Congress and the NCP are also moving towards forming a government with their own interests in mind.

The final decision depends on Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi. Therefore, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Sonia Gandhi will meet in Delhi tomorrow on Monday and a joint meeting of the two Congress leaders on Tuesday will announce whether a coalition government will be formed in Maharashtra. Presidential rule is currently in force in the state.

Meanwhile, NCP chief Sharad Pawar hinted that it would take a few days to form a government. However, on the death anniversary of Shiv Sena President late Balasaheb Thackeray, the Shiv Sena hoped that the Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP alliance would be formed to form the grand alliance government in Maharashtra. But that has not been possible.

A meeting of NCP's core committee was held at the residence of Sharad Pawar, head of the NCP in Maharashtra. There was serious debate on the political equation. The draft draft was discussed in the Common Minimum Program.
