Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress coalition challenged in Supreme

New delhi date. 15 November 2019, Friday

A petition challenging the Shiv Sena's alliance with the NCP and the Congress to form the government in Maharashtra was made in the Supreme Court.

Counsel for the petitioner alleged that the Shiv Sena had betrayed the voters of Maharashtra. The Shiv Sena had contested the assembly with the NDA. Only then did the Shiv Sena betray the NDA to seize power. Voters were seeking votes as an NDA ally. Now he has changed his opinion, which is similar to betrayal of voters. Stop this coalition forming the Government Your Honor.

It was learned that the hearing for this petition is likely to begin in a few days. The petition termed the coalition unethical and illegal and requested the court not to allow the alliance to be approved by the Chief Minister and the central and state governments.

The petition was filed in the Supreme Court by a lawyer named Pramod Pandit Joshi. However, the court has not yet announced the date for his hearing.
