Rakesh Asthana was bribed, proved in polygraph test

New Delhi, November 8, 2019, Friday

New evidence has emerged in the bribe case given to Rakesh Asthana, who was replaced by CBI's number two. A polygraph of Bachtia Manoj Prasad's father-in-law Sunil Mittal and Manoj's brother Sommeswar Srivastava conducted the test, which proved this.

Polygraph test of Hyderabad businessman Satish Babu Sana was also done. He also confirmed that Asthana had been bribed.

The trio's polygraph was tested on the 12th and 13th of March this year. Sana complained about this last year.

Sana said Asthana was bribed in 2016 to protect Moin Qureshi, a meat businessman. The Delhi High Court ordered that the matter be investigated by December 8 after receiving the evidence.

Informed sources said that most of the investigations into the case had been completed and that only the letter sent to the United States and the United Arab Emirates was seen.
