NEET benefits millions of rupees in coaching classes: Madras High Court

The Madras High Court, during the PIL hearing in connection with the NEET, questioned the government as to why the system was not permanently closed. The court observed that the rural students benefit very little from the NEET and the students who spend millions of rupees on tuition are only benefiting.

The Madras High Court asked the central government why the arrangements for NEET do not stop. For what reasons is it kept up? During a hearing on a case of sitting in the NEET examination, the Madras High Court said that if the present central government changes many other schemes of the previous Congress government, why not change the system of NEET?

The court, presenting the observation, said that it is almost impossible to pass the NEET exam without taking private coaching. Students who spend millions of rupees on coaching can benefit from the same NEET. The same passes for students who spend significantly. Villagers do not get the benefit of it.

The court asked how could poor students get admission to medical college? The court observed that the NEET was made to prevent the running of the private colleges financially. Its effectiveness was yet to be measured, but now it has become clear that even after passing the NEET exams, there has been financial competition, why is the government not considering it?
