Lucknow: AIMPLB meeting held on Ayodhya verdict

New delhi date. Sunday 17 November 2019

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has convened an important meeting in Lucknow today over the Supreme Court's decision on Ayodhya. All Muslim leaders, including AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, have arrived.

However, no representative of the Sunni Waqf Board is present at the meeting. The meeting is discussing the decision of the Supreme Court and the strategy ahead of the board.

Muslim parties recently filed an appeal against the recent Ayodhya decision, saying that Muslims should not take any land instead of the Babri Masjid.

Babri Masjid party Iqbal Ansari has opposed the AIMPLB meeting. Ansari says some people want to spread unrest in the country.
