Let us not forget the people that the notation was 'inscrutable Bhopal': Sonia Gandhi

New delhi date. November 8, 2019, Friday

Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday blamed the Modi government for taking away the livelihoods of millions of people through a blockade and said that his party would never forget the nation saying that the decision to ban the nomination was 'utterly stupid'.

Rahul Gandhi, too, attacked the Modi government on the eve of the three-year deadlock and called the ban a "terror attack" on the country's economy. He said the notary affected many people in the country and left millions unemployed.

Sonia Gandhi said that the Prime Minister and his colleagues have never accepted the responsibility of this 'Tughlaqi Bhopal'. More than 120 people lost their lives in the wake of PM Modi's immediate decision, and it proved to be a death blow to the country's small and medium enterprises.

The Modi government tries to impose responsibility for this stupid and short-sighted decision, but the nation and its people will hold the Modi government accountable for this decision.

The Prime Minister and his colleagues have been silent on the issue of notation since 2017. He hopes the nation will forget about this event. His misfortune will never let the Congress nation or its history forget about this and will not forgive BJP for this decision. Because unlike the BJP we work for 'national interests'.

Sonia Gandhi recalled November 8, 2016, saying that Prime Minister Modi had given Rs. 500 and Rs. Banning the 1000 notes promised that black money would come out of the nation, counterfeit notes would be removed and terrorism and Naxalism would be curbed.

The BJP government also said in the Supreme Court that the proportion of black money was Rs. 300,000 crore, which will not be able to be returned to the system. Obviously the Prime Minister has failed on all these criteria during these three years of notation. The RBI itself has admitted that Rs. 500 and Rs. 99.3 per cent of 1000 notes were returned to banks.

Terrorism and Naxalite activities during this period have increased by 22% in the last three years, the government's own statistics prove. Rahul Gandhi also attacked the Modi government on the issue of notation, saying that the notary was a terror attack on the country's economy, which took the lives of many people and left millions unemployed.
