It took Shashikala's 1600-crore anonymous property into a scam

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's signature. That The IT department has taken Shashikala's assets worth Rs 1600 crore in cash. Of the properties that have been taken into the tank, nine properties are located in Chennai, Puducherry and Coimbatore. He is accused of possessing the property shortly after the nomination was announced.

There are reports that this benami property was purchased only by the notes which were banned during the notation by Shashikala, though the property was set up in the name of different and others so that no one could realize it. There are also reports that the payment made after the purchase of this property was made in cash and by the MOU.

Earlier in 2017, various raids on Shashikala and its other materials were raided by the IT department. In the meantime, numerous evidences of benami property and corruption were found in front of him.

Shashikala is currently in jail since 2017. Shashikala was convicted by a special Bengal court of excessive wealth. The case later reached the Supreme Court, though the Supreme Court also upheld the verdict and was sentenced to four years in prison.

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was also in contention, after which, after his demise, who was entrusted with the command of power, he was tense and Shashikala began to take an interest in him. Shashikala and Jayalalithaa had a close friendship for three decades, which led to Shashikala's desire for the chief minister's chair after Jayalalithaa's death.

So that the two divisions of the AIADMK fell. Since Shashikala is currently locked up in jail, proceedings have also been initiated to seize his property. In this regard, assets worth Rs 1600 crore have been taken up in the tank while further action could be taken against the assets.
