Pakistan's prime minister has urged Trump to mediate on the Kashmir issue. But the US, which is well-known for its crop of terrorism, did not pay much price.

Imran Khan's office was reported to have had a conversation with Trump, but Trump did not show any such warmth. After India's clear stance that there was no need for a third party mediator on the Kashmir issue, Trump also gave a cold response to Iran's request for mediation.

Apart from Kashmir, Imran also informed Trump about Afghanistan's peace process. Pakistan announced that there was dialogue between the two leaders on various bilateral issues.

Pakistan has been very upset over the Kashmir issue and tried to discredit India, but somehow it has not succeeded so Pakistan has finally reached the United States again on this issue. The liberation of the Taliban from the prisoners of the western countries was seen as a positive change for Imara.

The official statement said that the release of the Taliban to American and Australian citizens was mentioned in the talks between Iran and Trump. Pakistan claimed that Trump thanked Pakistan for its role in releasing those prisoners.
