Major thunderstorms are slowly moving towards the coast of Gujarat. The Meteorological Department of the state has predicted that the thunderstorm is likely to collide between Diwali and Porbandar at 7 am. The state government has taken precautionary measures in the wake of hurricanes. The state government has contacted the central government regarding the situation of the hurricanes.

In addition, raw materials can be affected. For this reason people are being relocated from potential areas. Simultaneously, fishing boats have also been repatriated so that the boats have been rocked along the coast.

The state government is on alert mode to prevent casualties due to severe thunderstorms. The entire scene is being monitored from the State Emergency Center. Eight Coast Guard ships, two aircraft were deployed for relief operations.

The thunderstorm will catch more momentum on the night of the 4th of November and will slow down after dawn on November 5th. It is predicted that the storm will regain momentum. In addition, heavy rains are likely to occur in the state including Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Junagadh on 7th and 8th November.

At around noon on the fourth of November, the great storm passed 10 kilometers per hour from the Middle East area of ​​the Arabian Sea and is currently moving north-west. The hurricane is currently about 600 kilometers from the coast of Veraval. Early in the morning of November 5th, the storm will slow down and regain momentum.

In Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Surat and Saurashtra-Kutch, Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Rajkot and Diu are likely to receive moderate rains in Gujarat on November 5th and 6th. Heavy rains are forecast for Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Junagadh, Amaresi, Gir-Somnath, Bharuch, Vadodara, Valsad and Vapi on November 7th and 8th.

The most severe hurricanes can be affected in Porbandar, Bhavnagar, Kutch, Morbi, Gir Somnath and in this area district collectors have started meeting with the concerned authorities to start all the preparations.

Alerts have been issued in 15 villages of Khambha. The authorities have canceled various holidays in these areas and submitted various activities. 24 hour control room has been started. Home Selter arrangements are being made. People are being instructed not to go to the coast.

The fishing boats have been repatriated from the sea. So far 1015 boats have returned from the sea in Kutch. The fishermen have been ordered not to move the sea. Fishermen without permission have also been instructed to penalize fishermen. Given this, watersports have been banned along the coast.

15 NDRF teams deployed

The State Meteorological Department has predicted that winds will be blowing at 80-90 km in the affected areas. Particularly heavy winds can affect raw houses, causing people to migrate from certain areas. NDRF teams have been called from Delhi and Haryana. 8 NDRF teams have been dispatched to the coastal areas of Saurashtra while the two teams are well equipped during the day. A total of 15 teams have been deployed in Gir Somnath, 2 in Bhavnagar and 3 in total. Still another 10 NDRF teams are preparing to be airlifted.

Principal Secretary Dr JN Singh has given necessary instructions after holding a video conference and discussing the matter with the officials, including the DDO. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani himself is getting information about Rajraj on the entire scene and monitoring from the State Emergency Center.
