Goa Director General of Police Pranab Nanda died this morning in capital city Delhi on Saturday morning with a serious heart attack.
This 1998 cadre police officer did notable service in Goa, Arunachal Pradesh and capital New Delhi. Lastly, he was working in the Intelligence Bureau in Delhi. From there he was recently transferred to Goa.
Nanda was soon to take charge of his goa. He had died before. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant gave him a sarcastic jargon. Sawant said the premature death of an efficient and honest police officer has led to the loss of the state. I am shocked by his untimely death. I am in mourning for his family.
