Deepika Padukone will be producing a film with Karan Johar

Deepika Padukone is currently busy preparing for her upcoming film 'Chhapak'. His film is due for release in January 3. Deepika is also working on other films. She is to be seen with Siddharth Chaturvedi in the film being directed by director Shakun Batra. Shooting for the film is set to begin on February 7.

According to the social media portal, "Karan Johar and Deepika Padukone frequently discuss the film. The film will be a dark romantic drama. In which Deepika's Opposition Principle will be Chaturvedi. During the discussion of the film with Karan, Deepika also expressed interest in producing the film. However, this will not be the first film to be made under Deepika's production. He is also a co-producer on this first 'Chhapak', and co-produced with Ranveer Singh in '7'.
