Central Vista will be the new center of power, with all the ministries of the center on the same floor

New delhi date. November 12, 2019, Tuesday

Spread over three kilometers between Raisina Hills to India Gate, Central Vista is set to become the dominant center of power in the future. Preparations are currently underway to develop this space as a 'seat of power'.

Under the new scheme, a Common Secretariat will be set up at Rajpath. In addition, there will be ministries of all departments on one floor, while on the second floor there will be room for secretaries of all ministers and a separate organized wing will be created for the presidents of different flagship plans. In addition, the Prime Minister's accommodation has been suggested to shift to Raisi Hills.

A special arrangement may also be made to deliver the Prime Minister to office. For this, there will be an Underground Rail Service or a monorail service which will link the Prime Minister's House directly to the new Parliament. The service will also be for Central Vista and Central Secretariat, where there will be ministries of various departments.

Prabhakar Singh, director general of the Central Public Works Department, said, "All the capital has a special area where the government officials have housing. In Delhi, our officers sit in different parts.

The Central Secretariat will be a forum where there will be ministries of all departments. Under these circumstances, a short notice may also be held at one place. The objective of this whole scheme is to make government efficiency more efficient. '

The CPWD looked at several places, including the Lodi Colony, for the scheme but was later sealed on Central Vista. One reason for choosing Central Vista is that it is not far from the Parliament premises.

Some of the old buildings will be demolished for the construction of this new space. In order to reproduce the entire area for new construction, the buildings of the Department of Agriculture, Social Justice, Tribal and Urban Housing will be demolished.
