BJP lost one more ally in Jharkhand

New Delhi: November 15, 2019 Friday

The BJP lost another ally on the eve of the Jharkhand Assembly polls. On the issue of sharing of seats to the All Jharkhand Students 'Union, the Students' Union announced its decision to contest single-handedly. Similarly, the BJP will contest the elections for all the 80 seats.

Earlier, the BJP had a dispute with the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. With the help of Dushyat Chautala in Haryana, the BJP government has been formed. However, he has not yet been sworn in and the new government has not acquired the authority formulas.

Since the formation of Jharkhand as a separate state in 2000, the BJP and the Students' Union have been with it. Each and every election was fought together. But now for the first time, the BJP and the Students' Union will contest single-handedly.

The BJP had earlier announced 53 seats, while the students declared 13 candidates.

BJP chief and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP acting president JP Nadda and vice president Om Mathur were present in the meeting. Students were offended when the BJP declared support for Vinod Singh, an independent candidate. Earlier, Vinod Singh had a meeting with Student Union candidate. There was a dispute on the issue, which led to the two sides smashing a twenty-year-old friendly relationship.
