BJP is aware of unemployment and unemployment

A BJP MP himself questioned what steps the central government is taking on rising unemployment and unemployment in the country.

BJP's Haryana leader and Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pal Sutt asked this question. In reply to the Minister of Commerce in the Rajya Sabha, Piyush Goyal, the government has not found solid evidence that large scale layoffs have been done in any sector.

He added that the government was focusing more on skill development. As the desirability of the job seeker increases, it automatically gets a better chance.

According to an English newspaper report, MPs have questioned rising unemployment in the manufacturing sector. He didn't seem to be satisfied with Goyal's answer.

It is noteworthy here that last week, Minister for Skills Development, Mahendra Singh Pandey, said that 1.1 crore new jobs were created under the Prime Minister's Skill Development Scheme.
