During the April-September period of the current financial year, there was a fraud of Rs 95,800 crore in Indian government banks, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram told the Rajya Sabha in response to a written question.

During the period from April 1, 2019 to September 30, 2019, 5743 cases of fraud were registered in government banks. The Finance Minister has said that the government is taking several steps to reduce the fraud cases in the banks.

In the last two financial years, 3,38,000 bank accounts of inactive companies have been deferred. During the period from April to September, the State Bank of India committed fraud worth Rs 25400 crore. Subsequently, there was a fraud of Rs 10800 crore in Punjab National Bank and Rs 8300 crore in Bank of Baroda.

The finance minister has said that the government has also implemented a new law. Under which the offender is taken into custody the property of the offenders who have fled abroad.

Bankers have alleged that some of the bank's officials were also involved in the fraud. It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Modi has implemented strict bankruptcy and insolvency law in 2016.

Punjab National Bank, the country's second largest government bank, suffered a loss of $ 2 billion last year. The PNB alleged that some employees had for many years issued fake bank guarantees to the jewelery group seeking funds abroad.

State Bank has wasted Rs 500 crores on its sign boards to replace Dark Blue instead of Light Blue. The talk is not stopped yet. The government has given a relief package of crores of rupees, so the management has now made a big plan to replace the furniture in 20,000 branches across the country.

State Bank of India's management no longer likes to have different design furniture in its branches. He believes that like the private banks, the State Bank will have the same kind of uniform, same color furniture in every branch, so uniform furniture will be installed in every branch now.

Bank officials say that if there is a large branch, the cost of furniture is Rs 50 lakh and if there is a small branch, it will cost Rs 5 lakh but even if you consider the average Rs 10 lakh, the cost of replacing furniture in 20,000 branches will reach Rs 2,000 crore.

Management will not like the light blue color in the sign board

State Bank of India has spent Rs 500 crore to replace the sign board

To bring the deficit out of the pocket, the government gave Rs 70,000 crore to the banks out of the pocket of the people and started the useless expenditure of the banks.

The State Bank has begun to waste the money, with the government giving away Rs 70,000 crore from public pockets in August to help government banks in the pit of loss. State Bank of India has recently changed signboards to 20,000 branches across the country, including branches in the Vadodara module.

The eyes of the sign board will be tear-stained by the figure Yes ... State Bank has just smoked Rs 500 crore after changing sign board. On the condition of anonymity when talking to some bank officials, they said that the previous sign board of the State Bank of India had a light blue color.

This color bank has been in use since its inception. But the bank management suddenly decided to do a dark blue color instead of a light blue color. Due to such scandalous decisions, the sign boards have to be changed in 20,000 branches of the State Bank across the country.

The Vadodara module has five regions. The Vadodara module has 200 branches in terms of 35 to 40 branches in a region. It has spent Rs 3 crore to replace the sign board in 200 branches. There are 6 modules like Vadodara in Gujarat, so the State Bank has spent Rs 20 crore to replace the sign board in Gujarat. Thus, if the total 20,000 branches are accounted for across the country, it would be more than Rs 500 crore.
