Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi is retiring today, Sunday 17th November. On Sunday morning, he accompanied Lord Rupanjali Gogoi to see Lord Venkateswara.
The Chief Justice arrived on Saturday. On Saturday, he visited the Shri Padmavati Devi Temple in Tiruchnur, after which he performed Lord Varsha Swami and later on Lord Venkateswara.

Earlier on Friday, on his last working day, CJI Ranjan Gogoi spent four minutes in the Supreme Court's court number one. The Chief Judge presided over the Bench with his successor, Justice SA Bobde.
Meanwhile, Supreme Court Bar Association president Sanjeev Khanna thanked the Chief Judge from the Lawyer Association. Chief Justice took office in October 2018.
