A police official said the attack was carried out by militants in the Arihal area in Pulwama in July this year, which is under investigation. Police have identified a man named Shariq Ahmed who was involved in the attack.

Ahmed was in touch with foreign terrorists for a long time, so the police were also watching over him. The terrorists were preparing for a major terror attack in Pulwama. Police have recently arrested Ahmed, Abiq Ahmed, Adil Ahmed Mir and Owais Ahmed Charay on the basis of intelligence.

All four militants belong to Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terrorist organization previously attacked in Kashmir. At the same time the army has taken a major action in Poonch. During the investigation in Poonch, seven IEDs were found which were used for the big blasts. In addition, a gas cylinder, wireless set, etc. have also been found.

Terrorists were preparing for a major attack in Poonch, and targeted vehicles on the highway and wanted to attack like Pulwama.

The militants in Kashmir have also received inputs from the army and police who want to convey the message that they are still active in Kashmir after a major attack, so the couple is currently being monitored.

The central government in the Lok Sabha, while responding to questions from the opposition, gave this information, stating that stone-pelters have been activated in several areas in Kashmir and are trying to spread violence. About 765 locals have been detained in any detention and arrest proceedings by the police and the military in view of the incidents of stoning and violence.
