2 more cricketers arrested in match fixing, one has even played in IPL

In Indian cricket, the ghost of match-fixing is back on track. Two more cricketers have been arrested in connection with fixing in the Karnataka Premier League. One of these cricketers has played in the Indian Premier League.

The cricketers arrested by the police are from Bellary's team. Jame's names are CM Gautam and Abarra Kaji. Gautam is the captain of the team while Kazi is the wicketkeeper.

Four people have already been arrested by the police in this connection. This includes Bangalore's bowling coach Vinu Prasad and batsman Viswanath. The coach is alleged to have fixed the match played against Belagavi's team with the speculators.

According to the police, the players were given other things, including Rs 2 lakh, to slow the batting in this match.

Gautam, who was earlier in domestic cricket for Karnataka, has joined the Goa team this season. Besides, he has played for big teams like RCB, Mumbai Indian and Delhi in the IPL.

Kazi has also played domestic cricket from Mizoram. Both cricketers were also scheduled to play in the Syed Mushtaq Trophy, which starts on Friday in the current season.
