2 lakh cases of ammunition upset: Patna High Court

In Bihar, over two lakh cases of ammunition have been settled in the court like emergency. The Chief Justice of Patna High Court made this statement while he was hearing the matter connected with ammunition. While the advocate general of the Bihar government, Lalit Kishore, said that in September this year, a decision has been made to set up 74 special courts to deal with the issue related to ammunition.

The High Court said that 90% of the accused in the liquor case have been granted bail. The government states how many cases have gone to the Supreme Court to cancel their bail. The court told the government, within 24 hours, that what was the government doing to address the state of emergency? The High Court said that there are other types of cases pending in the lower court besides barring liquor. The government should take adequate steps to meet the burden on the court.

When the reply from the government has been given, the court has to decide what action will be taken next. Bihar government's formal minister Narendra Narayan Yadav said that the outline of what should be done in the settlement of cases from the government is ready. There has been talk of creating a special court. When RJD leader Shiv Chandra Ram said that the government's barricade was unsuccessful, the court was right.
