What if the deal with Don's wife is not treason? : NCP and Amit Shah question to Congress

New Delhi, Oct 15, 2019, Tuesday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the deal made by NCP leader and former Union Minister Praful Patel with the wife of Iqbal Mirchi, an accused in the terrorist attack on Mumbai, is not treason.

In an interview on a TV channel, Amit Shah said that now it is up to Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar to declare how they behave in this regard. Details of it were recently revealed. It was fun.

Asked if your show is an opinion on this, Amit Shah said that in fact you should ask Rahul Gandhi this question. The Congress government was at the center when the deal took place and the Red Corner notice against Iqbal Mirchi was dropped at the time of the deal, so Sharad Pawar should disclose that his party's leader Praful Patel along with his wife, Dawn, were accused of a 1993 serial bomb blast in Mumbai. Why did the deal. Didn't it become treason?

Amit Shah said that it was astonishing that Praful Patel alone was defending this. His party president Sharad Pawar or Congress Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi is silent. Praful Patel should explain why he had to deal with Iqbal Mirchi? Patel should explain whose pressure he made the deal.

Shah also added that when the Hajra Bibi demanded a passport, the UPA government opposed the Hajra Bibi's passport to the Supreme Court in 2007. So how can Praful Patel deal with Hajra Bibi? This is a case of open treason.
