US releases video of Baghdadi killed

Washington, Ta. 31 Oct 2019, Thursday

More than 22,000 people, including seven thousand women, have sought political asylum in the US after the BJP-led central government was formed in India.

The North American Punjabi Association said that after 2014, more than 22,000 people, including seven thousand women, sought refuge in the United States.

Association Director Satnam Singh Chahal said there could be two reasons for this. The first reason is the increased unemployment in India and secondly the increased intolerance in the BJP regime.

The association said we received this information from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services' National Records Center. Chahal said the figures were serious and alarming. 22,371 people applied for leave to India and to stay in the United States.

Those included 15,436 men and 6,935 women. These are the official figures. The statistics do not include people entering the United States illegally.

Chahal said that people coming here have to go through the legal process for a legal residence but the lawyers' fees here do not affect most people. So the tension is increasing.
