This is how the government is keeping the children of Kashmir out of school: Priyanka Gandhi

New Delhi, Oct 4, 2019, Friday

Congress party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who is protesting against the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, has again targeted the Modi government on the issue.

Priyanka Gandhi quoted a media report as saying that the sanctions imposed in the last two months have had the biggest impact on school children.

Priyanka further said in this regard, what kind of message does the BJP government want to give to the next generation of Kashmir by eliminating children from school?

It was noteworthy that on Thursday, the administration ordered the opening of schools, but most of the schools had seen a slight shift in attendance. The students were staying away from school. Meanwhile, the school has directed all schools not to charge the students in August and September. Because schools are closed during these two months.

The situation is slowly becoming normal in Kashmir but education is still affected. As students are avoiding going to school. Last month, the attempt to start schools was not successful due to this.

On the other hand, more than 100 journalists in Jammu and Kashmir staged a protest demanding the lifting of the ban on mobile and internet services. Even local newspapers are not publishing Purepura. Even the media internet portals are not working.

Journalists believe that the center which the government has set up for the media has only 10 computers and that is not enough.
