Rain stopped in Bihar but it was still flooded

Reports of flooding in Bihar have emerged in the wake of torrential rains that have been falling for the past several days. On Tuesday, the rain had stopped but people had spent the night in the middle of the water. So far 42 people have lost their lives amidst such conditions as rain and floods. There are some areas where relief is yet to be reported.

In other places, even in Patna, the capital of Bihar, there were three to five feet of water inundated so people had to spend the night in constant fear of floods. Thousands of people didn't even get a ton of food. Nitish Kumar's government has claimed relief measures but thousands of people have not received relief.

Ten in Bhagalpur, six in Gaya, four in Patna and four each in Kaimur. In Kagadia and Bhojpur, a total of 42 people were lost in each of the three Begusarai, Nalanda and Nawanda each in Babbe and Purnia, Jamui, Araval, Banka, Sitamarhi and Katihar.

For the last four consecutive days, Patna-like curfew conditions have worsened. There was no movement except water floating on the road. 80 per cent of Patna's houses are filled with two to three feet of water and people are not relieved. Secondly, the office of Uno in Patna was also filled with water and on the adjacent road it was filled with water four to five feet.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted aerial inspection of submerged areas on Tuesday. The government agency had allegedly launched a relief operation which was found to be false.

Nitish Kumar was upset over the question asked by the media and he asked the media in return whether the water in Patna alone was filled. Nowhere else is water filled. You are reporting the news that more than one city has been flooded in America.
