Rafale jet will strengthen India's position against China-Pakistan: Air Force Chief

"The Rafale jet will greatly enhance the capabilities of the Indian Air Force and will prove even more superior to Pakistan and China," said Air Force New Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadoria. The Rafale is a very capable aircraft.

Once he is inducted into the Indian Air Force, he will be a game changer in operational capability. When we use it with SU-30s and other planes, our capacity will increase manifold. We will be far superior to China and Pakistan, 'Air Chief Marshal Bhadoria said as he became the 26th head of the country's Air Force.

Bhadoria was the chairman of the Indian talks team at the time of the agreement to buy 36 Rafael Combat aircraft at a cost of Rs 60,000 crore. He was instrumental in clearing the deal. The first Rafale aircraft was inducted into the Indian Army in France by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. On his tail, the words RB-10 will be written for Bodoria who passed the deal.

Bhadoria, who visited the National War Memorial shortly after becoming Chief of the Indian Air Force today, paid tribute to the martyrs. 'I am very proud to be the head of the Indian Air Force, one of the best forces in the world. We were also prepared before the Balacott Airstrike and some of our flights were part of the aircraft.
