Qureshi lost gall asking for names of 58 countries supporting the Kashmir issue

(PTI) Islamabad, Ta. 4 October 2019, Friday

Asked about Prime Minister Imran Khan's claim that Pakistan's stance on the Kashmir issue had received global support at the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi lost his gall and became angry at the TV show's anchor.

Pakistan, which has lagged behind many times globally after clause 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir, has been embroiled in this issue once more in its own country.

Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue on several fronts internationally, but had no success. Nevertheless, after raising the Kashmir issue in the United Nations Human Rights Commission, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed that he had the backing of 58 countries.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also tweeted and backed Imran's claim. However, during a talk show on a Pakistani TV channel recently, Anchor repeatedly questioned Qureshi about Khan's 58-country statement and asked Qureshi to name 58 countries.

Foreign Minister Qureshi, furious over anchor questions, questioned the talk show anchor Javed Chowdhury on whose agenda do you work? Are you telling me which countries supported Pakistan in the UN? How do you decide? You can write what you want to write.

Frequently asked about his comments on Imran Khan's own Twitter handle, Qureshi denied that he or Prime Minister Imran Khan had tweeted any support from 58 countries. Qureshi said, 'No, no. Show me the tweet I wrote or wrote to Prime Minister Khan. You said my tweet ... show me my tweet. I want to see it. '

Despite showing the tweet to Foreign Minister Qureshi, he said there was nothing wrong with the tweet. I stick to what I have said. What's amazing about this ... Whose agenda are you working on? Qureshi questioned Chaudhary.
