Passenger vehicle sales fell 23.69 percent in September: the 11th month in a row

Sales of domestic passenger vehicles declined by 8.7 percent in September, to 6,8 units. Last September, the passenger vehicles were sold in the month of September. Sales of passenger vehicles declined for the sixth consecutive month.

According to data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), domestic car sales declined by 8.7 percent in September.

Sales of motorcycle declined by 8.7 percent in September to 4,8,6 units. In September last year, 6,3,6 motorcycles were sold. Total two-wheeler sales in September declined by 8.7 percent to 3,5 units. In September last year, 2,5,2-wheelers were sold.

Commercial vehicle sales declined by 8 percent in September to 5,6 units in September. In September last year, 5,8 commercial vehicles were sold.

Sales of all types of vehicles in September declined by 8.5 percent to 3,5 units. In September last year, the total sales of all types of vehicles were 5,3,6 units.

As vehicle sales continue to decline, more people are expected to be employed in the automobile sector. If not for sale soon, then the companies will be forced to reduce the production of vehicles. Because of this, many people's jobs will go away.

SIAM President Rajan Vadheera has said that the automobile sector is going through a long recession from the auspices of the third president. However, he said that sales of vehicles are likely to increase in October due to reduced corporate tax and bankruptcy in the government.
