'Mahabali' meets in Mahabalipuram: 'Warawarpu' Jinping

An informal meeting was held between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping today in the ancient Indian city of Mamlalapuram.

The two leaders met each other with no protocol, from costume to gesture. Modi became the guide of the president of China, and for about a quarter the ancient temples of Mamlalapuram, the unique one-sided rock, Arjun's penance, and the Pallava showed ancient relics like the punch chariot built in the seventh century.

Modi also renewed his 1700-year-old relations with China. Prime Minister Modi wore a traditional Tamil vest (lungi), a half-sleeved white shirt and ankara on his shoulder, while Chinese President Xi Jinping appeared in white shirts and black pants.

The visit of the Chinese President is very important for good relations between the two countries. Special arrangements were made from India to welcome Jinping. Modi welcomed the Chinese president at Mamlalapuram, just as President Xi Jinping welcomed Modi in Wuhan.

In Mamlalapuram, Prime Minister Modi showed three historic sites to Shi Jinping, including Arjun's penance stall, Punch Chariot and Shore Temple. In the evening, the two leaders also saw a dramatic version of the Ramayana story in classical music at Shore Temple.

When the two leaders reached Arjun's penance, Shri found a very good bond between them. Modi informed Jinping about this historic site. The translators were a link between them, along with the two leaders.

PM Modi and Jinping also traveled to Krishna Butterwall, where a huge rock weighing 250 tonnes is very popular among tourists. The rock is said to have been standing on a sloping site for over 1,200 years. His balance is tremendous. It is also a popular selfie destination among tourists. The cliff is 6 meters high and 5 meters wide. PM Modi and Shi Jinping raised their hands in front of this ancient rock also conveyed a message of friendship.

Modi-Jinping enjoys a cultural event at Shore Temple

After the break, PM Modi and the president of China arrive at the Srithat Shore Temple on the coast. There is a Shiva temple on both the east and west sides of the temple, with the sanctum sanctorum and the shivling installed. Between the two temples is a small temple, in which Vishnu lord sleeps. Classical music was playing in the temple courtyard. Modi and Jinping returned to this historic temple amid the beauty of the evening.

There are also many beautiful artifacts in the temple, to which PM Modi gave special hints. A cultural program was presented in the courtyard of the temple. Here Modi is the Foreign Minister. Jinping met formally with Jai Shankar, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale and National Security Adviser Ajit Dobhal. On the other side, Xinjiang also called on the Chinese delegation with Modi.

The possibility of discussing free trade, border disputes

The meeting between Modi and Shi Jinping in Mamlalapuram near Chennai is very important between India-Pakistan tensions and China's continually contradictory statements on Kashmir. The agenda of the second informal meeting after Wuhan is likely to discuss trade, proposed free trade with ASEAN countries, border disputes and 5th issues. Kashmir is an internal matter of India, so PM Modi will not discuss it. If Jinping raises this issue, India will give him detailed information.

One-on-one meeting today between Modi-Jinping

During the two-day visit of Jinping to India, the two leaders will discuss about six hours without any agenda. Modi and Jinping are expected to hold a one-on-one meeting on Saturday morning before the delegation level talks. After the meeting between the two parties, they will give different statements on the outcome of the summit, sources said. Government sources said they were likely to give directions at the end of the summit on Saturday, as the two leaders gave some instructions after the first informal talks in Wuhan, China last year.

Modi welcomes Jinping by tweeting in Tamil, Mandarin, English

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday tweeted in English, Tamil and Mandarin languages ​​and welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping to Chennai for another informal meeting.
