Lady Gaga tweeted following the Sanskrit verse

Hollywood singer and actress Lady Gaga caused a stir on Sunday by writing a Sanskrit verse on her Twitter account. Lady Gaga wrote a Sanskrit verse on Twitter and prayed for peace and happiness to spread to the world.

Indians were pleased with her tweet, but her other followers around the world got confused and started searching for her meaning. Lady Gaga tweeted in English text on Sunday, "Lok: Samasta: Sukhino Bhavantu". These words are part of a famous Sanskrit verse.

This verse prays for peace and happiness in the world. This verse means that everywhere in the world, all people should be happy and independent and the thought, word and deed of my life can somehow contribute to that happiness and freedom.
