Chief Minister Vijay Rupani started the second day of his visit to Uzbekistan with an interview with Samarkand Governor Erkinjon Turdimov.
He also discussed the immense potential of the trade industry between Gujarat Uzbekistan during this meeting with Samarkand Governor.
Vijay Rupani arrived in Samarkand today morning with a Gujarat delegation on a bullet train from Tashkent.
He made the most of the time during this tour with Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce President Ikramov in consultation with the farmers of Gujarat about trade opportunities in Uzbekistan.
The Chief Minister is to be present with the Governor of Samarkand during a series of business-to-business meetings in Samarkand today. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was accompanied by his Principal Secretary, senior IAS officer MK Das.
A lunch has been organized today by the Governor of Samarkand in honor of the Chief Minister and the Gujarat delegation.
Vijay Rupani will visit the India Study Center at Samarkand State University in the afternoon.
