Houthi rebels warn of more attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil plant

Sana, Ta. 4 October 2019, Friday

A few days ago, Yemeni rebel Houthis launched drone attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil company plant, throwing about 10 drones in succession. In the midst of this situation, there are now reports that these rebels may again carry out similar attacks on Saudi Arabia.

These Houthi rebels or rebels have demanded that Saudi Arabia cease attacking Yemen, and that both Yemen and Saudi will work towards resolving the conflict that is going on with each other or else it will be the same as before. It is noteworthy that the Houthi rebels had earlier attacked Saudi Arabia's Aramco oil plant, damaging the company's billions of rupees of oil.

For 15 days the Aramco plant had to be shut down and supply was lost. The same rebel group claimed responsibility for the September 14 attacks.

The aggressor organization is active in Yemen and has also rebelled against its government. The Shiite Muslims' organization has become more powerful and reports have come out of Iran's support.

The Supreme Political Council of the Houthi organization said in a statement to a TV channel that such efforts could be resolved only by peaceful efforts and that such attacks would still continue if the dialogue did not move forward.

Moreover, the head of the organization has also warned that there will be more attacks than ever before. Saudi Arabia first attacked the rebels and Yemen in 2015, following which tensions escalated and rebels have also launched attacks.

About 5 small attacks occur each year. These insurgents demand that Saudi Arabia stop attacks on us and negotiate with us and with the Yemeni government if there is no peace and stability.
