Healthcare cover mandatory if US enters US: Trump

Healthcare insurance or non-medical insurance visas will be canceled within 30 days of entry to the US

Immigrants in the United States will no longer have access to immigrants who do not have health insurance or cannot afford their own medical expenses. US President Donald Trump on Friday signed this new rule on immigrants. The new rules will be implemented from November 3rd, the American system said.

However, the new rule does not apply to green card applications of H-1B visa holders sponsored by 'refugees' in the United States and sponsored by an American employer. The new rule could impact the application of American immigrants seeking to sponsor a family member. According to one estimate, the impact of the Trump government's new rule is expected to have an impact on more than 23,000 Indians.

According to a White House statement, immigrants must have health insurance or cover their medical expenses within 30 days of entering the United States.

The timing of Trump's rule in the United States has been centered on cuts to legal and illegal immigrants. The Trump administration said last month that it planned to allow only 18,000 refugees to live in the US in fiscal year 2020, the lowest number in the history of the modern refugee program.

The US Department of Immigration announced Friday that HealthRealth Insurance may refuse to grant the American system a visa to immigrants who have no cover for their medical expenses to prevent immigrants from becoming burdened with the American economy. This new rule will apply to immigrant visa applicants living overseas sponsoring a family member.

Trump said in an announcement, "Our healthcare system is facing a number of challenges because of the inability to afford the medical costs of immigrants."

The American government is worsening the health system in the country by welcoming thousands of immigrants who can't afford their medical expenses. " He said the decision would apply only to those wishing to enter the United States with an immigrant visa.

Trump also said that statistics show that immigrants have far less health insurance coverage than American citizens. Over the past 10 years, immigrants have benefited more than $ 35 billion in beneficial health services compared to American citizens.

A large number of immigrants are taking advantage of the country's excellent public health program. The burden of their health and medical expenses can no longer be imposed on American taxpayers. This document lists the types of insurance accepted, such as the medical program for the elderly.

White House immigration officer Dodge Rand said that under the new rule, visas for more than 23,000 Indians could apply. Although they are not required to refuse visas, the new rule may have an impact on them. There are approximately 35,000 family-sponsored immigrants from India each year.

About one third of Indians are in the US and have applied for a green card. The remaining visa applicants have applied from India. Immigrants for US visas must provide proof that they will cover health insurance or medical insurance within 30 days of entering the United States.

Immigrant Visas are different from Temporary Travel / Tour Earth work visas, and these visas are sponsored by prospective US employers of permanent residents, families, or holders of green card holders.
