New delhi date. 6. October 2019 Sunday

The Wing Commander, who disbanded Pakistan's Air Force F16 after the Balakot strike, will honor the 51st Squadron of the Air Force.

Air Chief Marshal RK Bhadoria will give a citation to the squadron. Commanding officer group Captain Satish Pawar will accept the honor from the squadron. It may be recalled that on February 27, the Pakistani Air Force had announced the entry into Indian airspace.

The Indian Air Force then dismissed Pakistani planes. During the aerial battle, Wing commander Abhinand was smashed by an F16 during which his plane crashed and landed in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Congratulations on being involved in the 51st Squadron at the time. The squadron will be honored for its bravery for stopping Pakistani planes. In addition, the Mirage 2000 aircraft will be honored with a squadron of 9.

In addition, 601 Signal Unit Squadron Leader Minty Agarwal will also be honored for providing accurate direction to Indian Air Force aircraft when Pakistani planes enter India.
