Delhi Police increased security to mark Team India terror, including Virat Kohli

India tour of Bangladesh Cricket Team begins on November 3. The first match of the three T20 matches between the two teams will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on November 3.

Rumors have been turned down about the location of the match due to pollution in Delhi. Now Delhi Police has been told to enhance the security of Team India.

What is the reason for increasing security?

Recently, the NIA received a non-recourse letter, claiming that there was an increased risk on Team India, especially team captain Virat Kohli as he was the first to be named on the list. Terror can be attacked on team or Virat.

What's in the letter?

According to Delhi Police sources, the letter has some big names. These include PM Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, senior BJP leader LK Advani, BJP acting president JP Nadda and RSS president Mohan Bhagwat.

Who is at risk?

The NIA has sent a copy of this letter to the BCCI. Sources said that the letter could target Kohli's All India Army Kohli and the chief politicians of Kozhikode in Kerala.

The source said that the letter could be fake or false but no risk could be taken and responsibility was being taken at the match site as well as for the safety of the players.
