Coimbatore: 50 thousand rupees ate slices, bank refuses to change note

Wellingadu (Coimbatore) Ta. Tuesday 22 October 2019

Shocking information was found that the rats were harvested by a farmer from Wellingadu village in Coimbatore area of Tamil Nadu.

The farmer sold the bananas and made about Rs 50,000. He packed this amount in a cotton bag and kept it in his raw house (hut). The currency notes in the bag were sliced by rats. The farmer went to the bank and asked for help. Thus the farmer's income was lost.

Ranagaraj, 56, was almost mad at the incident. Thousands of bubbles filled with cotton bags and five hundred five hundred notes were sliced by rats. Yet last week, he made this income by selling bananas grown on his farm.

Now Ranagraj is busy trying to change the note in some other way.
