China leased the entire island for 75 years, leaving America sleepy

America was shocked when China recently leased an island on the Solomon Islands for fifty-five years. Currently, conditions such as the Cold War between the United States and China continue.

A secret meeting was held between Solomon Islands and Chinese government officials last month, according to a New York Times report. Following the meeting, a company affiliated with the Communist Party of China leased the island to Tulagi for the 'development work' of the island and its vicinity.

However, according to a New York Times report, the residents of Tulagi were shocked to find this information and immediately notified US officials. The United States is careful to stop China's footprint in the Southern Pacific and protect important coastal routes. Earlier, China had also adopted a strategy of establishing its own establishments in these countries to assist Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh in its development activities.
