Chandrayaan-2: Day rises again on moon, ISRO hopes to contact Vikram Lander

The Indian Space Research Center (ISRO) recently released pictures of the moon taken by Chandrayan-2 orbiter. These pictures were taken with a high-resolution camera mounted on the orbiter.

Meanwhile, the moon has begun to rise again. And with this, the scientists of ISRO are hoping to get back in touch with Vikram Lander. Vikram Lander's solar panels may be charged again as the sun shines on the surface of the moon.

ISRO scientists believe that solar panels in Vikram Lander could be recharged if they start charging and start working again. Solar panels mounted on a record lander can charge the lander's batteries through sunlight.

It may be mentioned that the record lander, part of Chandrayaan-2, had a soft landing on the lunar surface. ISRO made several attempts to contact Vikram Lander. But as the 14-day night began on the moon, hopes for Esro's contact with Vikram were shattered.

But now with the beginning of the day on the surface of the moon, there is hope for contact among scientists. Scientists believe that sunlight can once again bring the lander to life, helping to make contact with it again. Meanwhile, the recently released moon image is taken by the orbiter of Chandrayan-2.

The orbiter's high-resolution camera has taken the image of the magnificent Bogoslawsky e-crater and its surroundings in the South Pole 100 km above the surface of the moon. The crater has a diameter of 14 km. And depth 3 km. As much as The pits and boulders are found in these pictures by Esro.
