Ayodhya dispute will be decided in favor of Muslims

Lucknow, Ta. October 12, 2019, Saturday

All India Muslim Personal Law Boden, the largest Muslim organization in the country, hopes that the ruling of the Ayodhya dispute in the Supreme Court will come in favor of Muslims. The board said similar civil laws would create difficulties for not only Muslims, but also for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and many other societies.

Before the Supreme Court ruling on the Ayodhya dispute, an important meeting of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board executive was held in Nadwatul Ulama. The meeting discussed a hearing in the Supreme Court on the Ayodhya issue and a possible ruling next month. The meeting expressed hope that a verdict in the Supreme Court would come in favor of Muslims.

Apart from Ayodhya, the meeting also discussed in detail the issues related to civil law and three divorce laws. This meeting of the board was strictly forbidden by the media. Meanwhile, the Muslim Personal Law Board has decided to challenge the constitutional legality of triple talaq and warned against imposing uniform civil law.

It is worth mentioning that the Ram temple Babri Masjid land dispute case is being heard in the Supreme Court of Ayodhya. The Supreme Court will hear the case on October 17, one day sooner rather than the scheduled schedule.

The Constitutional Bench, chaired by Chief Justice Justice Ranjan Gogoi, said at the end of the hearing on the 37th day that the hearing of the case will be completed on October 17th. Muslim parties will finish arguing on October 14, and two days after that, Hindu parties will meet for an argument. Hindu parties will complete the argument on May 16 and the hearing will be completed on October 17.
