7 children drowned in Bihar, bathed in river in different areas on Friday

In a separate incident in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, seven children, who were bathed in the river, died in a separate incident on Friday.

Three of the seven were reported to belong to the same family. According to a police official, four girls were bathed in a lake in the village of Vishnpur Bandhangari in the outskirts of Sakra police station.

Four of the four acreas did not swim. All four of them were plunged into deep water. Four girls from a village were drowned like this. The villagers removed all four girl's bodies from the water.

On the other hand, three children of a family of Rampur Harigaon were bathed in the Bagmati river at the outskirts of Minapur police station and all three died after drowning. Thus the coming Diwali of these families was spoiled. Family members could not answer how the children went to the bath alone.
